Chad Young founded Mister Painter in Fishers in 2008. The principles haven’t changed — only the size of the team.
- Founded 2008 — Chad came up through Indiana University and a decade at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Two lessons stuck: how you treat people matters more than anything else, and the details you’d think nobody notices are the details everyone notices.
- Recognized in Our Hometown — Angi’s Super Service Award six years running 2012–2017 (earned by fewer than 5% of service pros each year), Best of Fishers 2012, and BBB complaint-free in 2024 and 2025.
- Built on Referrals — Most of our work still comes from referrals and repeat clients across Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield, Geist, and Indianapolis — some families we’ve painted for three times over.
- Still Family-Run — Leadership takes client calls personally. Our crews are all employees, trained in-house. Every commitment is honored. And every home is treated like our own.
What We Believe
Four principles we’ve never
outgrown.
01
Communication
You’ll know your start date, your crew lead’s name, and your finish date before the first brush stroke. Clear timelines and straight answers, every project.
02
Respect
Your home is where your life happens — where your kids grew up and where you raised a family. We move furniture with care, clean up thoroughly, and lock up behind us like it’s our own.
03
Follow-Through
Every quote honored. Every warranty backed. Every start date kept. When we commit to Monday, we’re on your driveway Monday morning.
04
Craftsmanship
Eighteen years of refining the details — from prep work to the final brush stroke. Every wall finished by people who care how it looks up close.

I highly recommend Mister Painter Group! The outside wood trim needed repairing. The exterior trim, front porch and doors needed painting. They were very professional, prompt, skilled, and paid great attention to detail. My husband and I were highly satisfied with them!Posted on Google

Crystal Taylor118 days agoMPG painted three bedrooms for us. The crew did a great job. The coverage looks wonderful, nice clean lines. They were quick to fit us into their schedule and their quote came in much more reasonable than our two other quotes. Highly recommend this business and we’ll absolutely use them again for future projects.+2Posted on Google

Sue Maki142 days agoMister Painter Group did a total renovation of our entire house. I could not be happier with the results. Totally new kitchen, partially new bathrooms. Scraped and refinished ceiling. New walls put up. New plumbing fixtures. New paint and tile. Their work was beautiful and they completed on time. They were easy to work with and were very communicative. I always knew the status of each aspect of the project. I can't say enough good things about them. Do not hesitate in hiring them!Posted on Google
Dean Hansen161 days agoLarge upgrade to dining room and entry hall which included: adding partial wall, square pillars, double doors, raised paneling, dental molding, knock-down ceiling texture and of course paint. All went smooth and results spectacular.+1Posted on Yelp

Lisa R.2225 days agoThis is the second job I've had done this summer by Mister Painter and once again, they did not disappoint. This project was painting the front windows and trim. Brandon did an excellent job. He took the time to scrap, sand and caulk before painting and the windows now look almost new! They are very prompt with responses and scheduling. I highly recommend this company!Posted on Angie's List

He even recommended the color based on our input, and the result is spectacular. We had hardwoods being refinished around the same time, so they adjusted their plans and worked over the weekend with 2 crews to finish the painting before the floors were done. All of of this collaboration meant that we were able to finish a complete update of our house's interior in less than one week after we initially scheduled the work. Ann C.2988 days agoI am so glad I selected Mister Painter. I had three quotes...first quote was just too high. The second guy just wasn't communicating well. Then we got Mister Painters. Chad is so responsive to messages, prompt quotes and was able to squeeze our job in prior to listing our house. His team was quick and respectful of my home. They also fixed anything i noticed without any excuse. They are a great company and i highly recommend.+0Posted on Angie's List
